EBB announces a new branch in Sheffield
December 2007
We are delighted to announce that Elliott Baxter will be strengthen its northern operations by opening a new branch in Sheffield in the new year.
The Companies latest venture follows the successful opening of a site in Manchester in March 2007 and will bring the Companies total stock holding to over 16,000 tonnes.
Tim Elliott, EBB managing director, said that the office and warehouse branch's opening next February was sooner than originally planned.
"The success of our Manchester operation, which only opened in March this year and is expected to exceed its budget for the year, has allowed us to bring forward plans for another Northern branch," he said.
"Our heavy emphasis on customer service is allowing us to make sales gains at a time when some major competitors are reducing their service offering to printers."
David Tennant, the Director with responsibility for EBB's Manchester and Birmingham sites, will also lead the Sheffield site. Recruitment is underway; please click on our careers section for more information.
The emphasis from our new location will remain identical to our core strength which is to establish ourselves as Number 1 for Customer Service in the area. The Company holds massive stocks of best-selling paper grades, many of which will already be known to our potential new customers.
This is an exciting move for Elliott Baxter as we reinforce our position as the UK's leading Independent Paper Supplier.
