EBB buys Denian Office Limited

June 2012
On 1st June, Elliott Baxter & Company Limited (EBB Paper) acquired 100% of Denian Office Limited.
Ray Green and Martyn Sunderland established Denian 34 years ago, and over that period they have built a successful Office Supplies business. They have recently been starting to think about the future development of the business, and for this reason have been searching for a suitable partner. Ray and Martyn will continue working full time as they help with the integration of the two businesses.
Elliott Baxter & Company Limited are this year celebrating their 90th year in business. They are a family-run company which has a reputation for providing the best service in the industry. Having originally started trading in central London in 1922, they have today grown to a national paper merchant, with 10 regional sales offices and distribution centres around Great Britain, and an expected turnover this year of £100 million.
Commenting on the deal Ray Green said "A bright future for Denian Office is now assured with the acquisition by Elliott Baxter. We cover different sectors of the market yet the approach to our customers is the same, service being the No. 1 priority."
Matt Elliott said "Our long term plan is that this acquisition will be the springboard to a larger move into the Office Supplies Market. This announcement demonstrates the Directors' desire to keep EBB Paper moving forward purposefully and at the forefront of paper supply in the UK."
