EBB expands Watford operation

Elliott Baxter (EBB) is delighted to announce their latest expansion plans in Watford. This will see them move from their current premises in to a new unit 4 times the size. The new facility holds 4,000 tonnes of stock, an increase of 3000 tonnes. It is equipped with the latest, state of the art, warehousing, racking and narrow aisles technology. This expansion will allow EBB to simultaneously service a new area and launch a new market leading coated paper - CHORUS LUX. The new area will include, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire and North Essex. EBB Watford will be operating 24 hours per day from 1 January 09, enabling them to bring their 1st class delivery service to a new customer base. Despite tough trading conditions EBB is looking to recruit staff across all areas of the operation from Driver / warehouse to sales people. This latest development demonstrates Elliott Baxter's commitment to growing market share and volume in a difficult market. Elliott Baxter's UK stock holding is now 19,000 tonnes across its 11 branch network. |
