From 10am Tea, coffee, cakes and pastries served in the Tower Suite (On the 1st floor of the Tower Hotel) overlooking the Thames.. 11am - 12pm Arrive at The Tower Hotel, St Katharine’s Way, London E1W 1LD. The Hotel will take your bags from you when you arrive - you will be given a bag tag, and they will then ensure your bag is in your room for you when we get back from the boat. Please give the name of the EBB employee, not your partner. We have arranged for a help desk to be located next to the main Hotel entrance (it will have a big EBB banner next to it!). Someone will be at this desk from 9am until 7pm on Saturday and from 9am until midday on Sunday. They are there to answer any questions you may have about the schedule, your return travel arrangements, or if you are looking for information on something to do in the area. 12pm - 12.30pm Board the luxury river yacht The Silver Sturgeon from Tower Bridge Quay which is right outside the hotel. The yacht will leave promptly at 12.30pm so please arrive in time to board. 12.30pm - 3pm River cruise down to Greenwich and back up as far as Westminster where you will see some of the most iconic London landmarks whilst enjoying a first class barbecue and a selection of complimentary wines, beers and soft drinks. Return to Tower Bridge Quay. 3pm - 7pm Free time - you can use this time to explore the local area, the hotel is situated right next to the Tower of London (where you can see Superbloom - an immersive floral display in the moat of the Tower created for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations), Tower Bridge and St Katharine’s Docks as well as being within easy walking distance of Butlers Wharf and Borough Market. There are walking routes along both banks of the Thames where you will find all sorts of places of interest. Maps and other details will be available on the day. You could choose to stay in the hotel for the rest of the afternoon, there are indoor and outdoor bars and lounges as well as a gym. You will also be able to get into your room if you would prefer to relax (please remember, anything charged to your room will be at your own expense). 7pm - 7.40pm Drinks reception in the Bridge Suite of the Tower Hotel 7:45pm Dinner and entertainment in the Tower Suite 10.45pm - 12.45am Disco 11:45pm “Midnight snack” 12.45am Bar closes Sunday 26th June 2022 6.30am - 11am Breakfast served 11am Check out of hotel - just to remind you, anything charged to your room, or taken from the room's mini bar, will be at your own expense, and will need to be settled when you check out. |
