EBB launches Maine, Chromomat and Satimat with 15% recycled content
July 2009
Maine Gloss, Chromomat and Satimat Silk (MCS range) are now available from EBB with 15% recycled fibre. The recycled fibre is post consumer waste from Greenfield Mill in France; 20% to 30% of the waste recycled at Greenfield is from the UK. This has a genuine impact on UK landfill. The addition of recycled fibre does not materially change the product; all of the best qualities are retained: fast ink drying, great press runnability and superb printed results. The addition of 15% recycled fibre makes MCS the lowest carbon-produced coated paper on the market. EBB is delighted to roll out this product improvement; it keeps MCS at the forefront of quality mid-range coated papers said Chris Sandwell, Sales and Marketing Director, MCS is now a greener product, and has a differentiating quality over most other mid-range coated grades. As ever, EBB has the back up of 9,000 tonnes of sheet stock along with CutStar reels, all available for express delivery. |
