£1 million investment in new computer system

Elliott Baxter has announced the successful launch of its new £1 million computer and network system. The server-based platform was introduced on 1st January and has seen EBB incorporate the latest distribution software from Great Plains, the commercial arm of Microsoft Business Solutions. In terms of benefits to customers, they will eventually have the facility to see their own prices, current order status and product information at the click of a button.
In addition to many other customer focused programs, facilities will also exist to provide EBB with the ability to send invoices, statements and sales quotations electronically. Internally the windows-based technology allows access to many other Microsoft products and provides full e-mail integration.
