Navigator/Soporset Wet Wales Weekend

On 25th September, 2014, twenty five EBB employees met up in South Wales to take part in a couple of days of water-based outdoor activities and team building. After a hearty breakfast on the Friday, the team travelled to Glenneath in the Brecon Beacons to enjoy a morning of gorge walking: scrambling up the side of and through spectacular waterfalls, navigating through deep clefts at the side of beautiful mountains, climbing up raging water shoots and taking exhilarating jumps into deep mountain pools. After a bite to eat in the local pub, they headed down to the coast at Porthcawl for an afternoon of surfing. Finally on the Saturday morning, they made it to the Cardiff International White Water Centre for a mornings white water rafting. This man-made facility creates white water, on demand, no matter what the weather or the time of year. After a bit of instruction, everyone was split into teams and headed out on the rafts for an exhilarating hour of thrills and spills descending the rapids again and again.
